About The Author


Neal Hagberg, author of the haikus and the poem, "Before Steve", has been director at Tennis & Life Camps since 2011. As a singer/songwriter, he spent twenty-five years touring the U.S. with Leandra Peak, in venues from coffeehouses to Carnegie Hall. He is the recipient of two McKnight Fellowships, one for performing, and one for composing.
