Tennis & Life Camps at Gustavus Adolphus College has been operating for over 50 years, known for its philosophy that has produced champions while taking the focus off winning, which is out of our control - or we would win every time - and placing the focus on what is in our control, the Three Crowns • Positive Attitude • Full Effort • Good Sportsmanship℠. It is a place that teaches how to face adversity with grace, how to create a space where everyone belongs, and how to express gratitude even in the midst of the challenges life throws at us all. Through haikus, poems, and paintings, this book delves into what makes a rich life on and off the court. A book for all ages, it is an accessible read that creates space to reflect on life and the sport of tennis that we all love. Journeying through the alphabet, each page showcases a small part of the TLC legacy with the intention that all readers will have a chance to learn about and live by the values we cultivate at Tennis & Life Camps.
