About The Author

Dan Winn's love of poetry was true and steady throughout his life, always occupying his attention along with other pursuits. His interest in poetry sprouted in high school, and flourished through his college years and beyond where his love of poetry grew alongside his love of playing rugby. Dan embarked on his own journey as a poet late in life, when he was 65. He wrote poetry nearly every day a few months before the pandemic closed life down in early 2020. Dan died in 2024 after a brief illness. His poems are collected and presented for publication posthumously in "Loose Order."
