Live a Love Story

Many hear the phrase “love story” and immediately their minds dart to marriage or romance. Yes, the Father desires to choose a spouse that best fits you. But the truth is, God wants everyone to live a perfect love story with those around them. The Lord wants your family to overflow with His love. And He longs to connect you to friends that become family. The Father’s great hope is that His children feel a sense of belonging, and experience His love through those around them. In this way, others may see His love and be saved.

However, God is love and we are incapable of showing perfect love without Him. As a result, the book series Live a Love Story, seeks to encourage the reader to pursue the Lord in their thought life. Ask Him the hard questions. Get to know your Heavenly Father in a deeper way so that you can experience and then introduce others to His love.

Today is the day to say yes to God, like Paul! On a street called Straight, Paul said yes to prayer from a Christian. Previously, he hunted the people of God. The Bible says he had murder on his breath as he pursued believers relentlessly. But on a street called Straight, a blind and likely humbled Paul said yes to prayer from Ananias and regained his sight. Paul then began preaching the Word of God. The Lord led Paul to the right path, but he still needed to say yes. Right now, your Father is asking you to say yes and pursue Him with your entire being. How will you respond?

A Street Called Straight is a book within the Live a Love Story book series that encourages others to walk out Jesus's first and second commandments. Love God and love people. However, we can only love the Lord and others with His help. Therefore, as we pursue His Presence and seek Him through the Word, we encounter more of Him. The process by which we seek and find God helps us to better love Him and each other. In this way, we get to live the love story of our dreams. Therefore, the goal of this book is to connect your thoughts to the Lord. Read this compilation of varying topics during your quiet time or in a group. Each lesson includes a quick snapshot of information and can serve as a conversation starter with the Lord. The goal is to provoke the reader to seek God and ask him questions. The teachings can be read in any order and as you study remember Proverbs 25:2 NASB, "2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter."
