little cloud is a book about a little boy growing up on a reservation in South Dakota. it tells of many adversities he had to go through and how he had learned to lean on his faith and love of his culture to find his joy.

This book reflects the many struggles and adversities that an indigenous tribe in South Dakota had to go through, This story tells of many heart aches that little cloud had to endure. The book explains some of the history of the Lakota Indian and the love of this culture that gave little cloud his strength. in the end little cloud finds joy and the courage to face adversities.

Linda Minor is a former professor from a college in the Bay Area, When she moved California's central coast, Linda became inspired by it's beauty to return to her love of writing she knew so well as a youth. From this renewed love of writing came little cloud, a story that had been stirring in her since she was a child. Her love for American Indians began when her father would sit at night by the fireplace with her and tell her stories about them that he loved and grew up with. it was there, in front of that fireplace with her father that Linda's writing journey began.
