Little Britches, the Tire Swing, and the Old Gray Goose

Fun-loving Uncle Levi wants to give Little Britches the experience of having her very own tire swing. Once in the air the fun does not go as planned, for just as Little Britches feels as though she is flying high, she soon realizes that she really is soaring and is hurtling quickly towards the ground. The story of "Little Britches, the Tire Swing, and the Old Gray Goose", is based on a true experience Ezernack had as a little girl. This story appeals to older generations and embraces younger generations, as they take flight on their very first ride and reminisce on their first tire swings.

Meagan Ezernack lives in Killeen, Texas where she teaches 4th grade. Meagan found her love of writing while demonstrating personal narratives and creating imagery with details for her students. "Little Britches, the Tire Swing, and the Old Gray Goose" is based on Meagan's personal experience as a child, when the rope on her tire swing, did in fact, break mid-air. Meagan has many stories to share about Little Britches and will continue to share her love of writing and experiences with all the students that she encounters throughout her teaching career.
