About The Author


Edee Kulper is the author and photographer of the coffee table book, Life on Orcas Island. She started her blog of the same name in 2017, which has over 1,000 posts and over 12,000 photos and counting. She also has an interview show and podcast of the same name, which you can find on any major listening platform. Edee has a degree in Cultural Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara, has lived on Orcas Island since 2012, and has two sons she could brag about for days. She has traveled to Turkey, Italy, the Bahamas, Fiji, Kenya, the Cook Islands, Bermuda, South Africa, Bolivia, Chile, Mexico, and Canada, and has been everything from a river guide and bike tour leader to a wedding photographer and magazine editor.
