This first book explores the very foundation of the United States Constitution and the Preamble that helped set the tone for the country that we live in today.

Liberty Lawyer & Gavel take their first quest by starting off in Naples, Florida and magically being transported back into time to where the rights of people to be free from oppression were first written on paper by the founding fathers. The words of the Preamble to the United States Constitution come to life in very different times than what Liberty Lawyer and Gavel are used to. This first book is a celebration of Constitution Day -- which is very different from Independence Day.

About the Author Attorney by day and author by night, Samantha Stevins lives in her hometown of Naples, Florida. An avid reader herself, she created these characters to help children understand how the laws impact them on a personal level, in large ways and small. And yes . . . Gavel is a real dog who goes to work with Ms. Stevins almost every day!!!
