Description
The story is set at a lake in the summer time. A little boy discovers he can understand and speak to Lobsters at the grocery store. He then sets out on an adventure to visit all the "little Lobsters" (crawfish), which he refers to as Obbies, and meet their leader; King Obby, the Blue. The book follows the boy as he snorkels around the lake where his parents and he vacation. Meant for younger readers, the text is simple and easy to follow while the illustrations elaborate and fun. Small children will delight in the vivid colors and somewhat comic depictions throughout the story.
About the author
Originally from Horseheads, New York; I grew up poor in a small town. I came into my own when I joined the military; they really showed me what it was to do something difficult. Everything since has been easy. I got and education, became an Officer, started medical school (currently entering my 3rd year), and started writing in my free time. I have drawn comic books since I was a teenager; mostly small freelance projects for Divine Authority Press, and made my first children's book at age 16. I currently have 2 fiction novels that I am chipping away at; I am really excited about them because they are extremely original and I am quite fond of my writing style, I think readers will enjoy them. I continue to do freelance art when I can and enjoy the many hobbies that I have cultivated since buying my first house; some of which include but are not limited to remodeling my home, gardening , and amateur beekeeping. Since getting married in July 2011, I enjoy spending time with my wife and look forward to starting a family. Hopefully the kids aren't all as stubborn as me.
