About The Author

Kara Badette is a proud first-generation Haitian-American. She considers her family and culture to be most important to her, which prompted the passion project, now known as K is for Kreyol. With Kara’s first children’s book completed, she plans to write many more to aid in her mission of highlighting all the beautiful facets of Haiti while creating a legacy for the generations to follow.
