About the author

Jules Mermelstein has been a criminal defense attorney, a local elected official, a Sunday school teacher, and a high school social studies teacher. He has written book reviews of legal thrillers for Sidebar, the quarterly magazine of the Montgomery Bar Association in Pennsylvania. He teaches courses and gives lectures on the Constitution and Current Events, and recent Supreme Court decisions. Jules is a member of the PA Bar Association's Law Related Education Committee, and serves as a co-chair of the Montgomery Bar Association's Government Relations Committee. He lives with his wife and his dog, Taco, and writes, often with Taco on his lap, in Dresher, Pennsylvania. He is a husband, father, and grandfather.
