There are 40 plus stories of real-life teaching situations - what to do, what not to do. Included are special situations like death and divorce, and of course, how to become their favorite teacher. The ongoing theme, is if they like you, they will learn.

David Faith taught for twelve years in the Lutheran school system, two years in the Los Angeles Unified School District, and finished his career as a middle school teacher in the Fontana Unified School District. Since his retirement in 2012, David has been reading, writing, and enjoying his grandchildren.
