Overview

With his contingent of former U.S. Marines, KC has established a successful business and a comfortable life, but misses the thrill of his old life. He forms a covert "Special Ops" division of his security company and his men use stealth maneuvers learned in Vietnam to pursue criminals who have evaded capture and punishment by conventional law enforcement. The new side gig is exciting and even dangerous, but when KC hires Nellie—a non-infantry Marine and a woman—to train his men in sophisticated martial arts, his comfortable life takes a turn he never saw coming. Will Nellie prove to be the missing link that completes his team? Or will KC find his trust misplaced?

Description

As each new crime-solving challenge presents itself, a scenario from the team's days in war-time Vietnam is revisited, relived and described in detail. As each war-time adventure progresses, it becomes more clear as to why the stateside crime reminds members of KC's team of the similarities between their past and present situations.

Their creativity in combat environments, discipline in adherence to professional standards and practices and determination to accomplish the mission at hand goes a long way toward answering the question of why these jungle warriors became crime fighters.
