Steve Copley writes back in the hills and hollows of the Driftless Region in Southwest Wisconsin and in the marshes of South Louisiana. He dabbles as a lawyer, woodworker and mediocre fisherman. Steve is also the author of a cookbook and numerous outdoor short stories.

Edie Jiang, the illustrator who brings the story to life, is an artist from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Economics, but has since spent her time illustrating and storyboarding for animation. She is currently at Dreamworks. This is her first illustrated book.
