About The Author

About the Author: Larry Hill spent 30 years in the fast paced trading arena. A University of Illinois graduate, he started as a clerk on the Chicago Options Exchange in 1975, just two years after it opened. A registered floor trader, he also mange the stock trading portfolio of a major hedge fund that is still in existence today. He was one of the original employees of Archipelago, the first all-electronic stock exchange that merged with the New York Stock Exchange in 2005. He witnessed first-hand the evolution of the financial markets as they progressed from trades on paper to the nano-second trading world of today.
