Spencer identified a need for transparency and collaboration in where she identified a way to help bridge the organizational gap. She started an employment agency where the mission is to address IT staffing needs and career goals. The goal is to connect people to fit into an organizational culture based on the employer business needs and to give the employees purpose. After leading the technical recruitment function at a major healthcare organization, she also became a private career school teacher where she taught business communication.
