About The Author

J Ryan Fenzel is a novelist who employs the character and history of Michigan and the Great Lakes region in his thriller/adventure titles. His debut novel, "Descending From Duty" (Ironcroft 2006) received widespread acclaim as a well-crafted and fast-moving submarine thriller that unfolds in the great inland seas surrounding Michigan. He followed up with "Inherit All Things" (Ironcroft 2009), a rollicking treasure hunt adventure built on historical records and accounts from Michigan's most intriguing ghost town, the buried village of Singapore. Continuing with his trademark blend of Great Lakes fact & fiction, Fenzel wrote "Allied In Irons" (Ironcroft 2012). The second book in the Jack Sheridan series, "Allied In Irons" follows a high stakes search for the wreckage of Northwest Flight 2501, an airliner that crashed into Lake Michigan in 1950 and was never found.
