Amy Boukair was born in Cleveland, Ohio. After starting her educational career as a journalism, then psychology major at Kent State University, she eventually graduated from Notre Dame College of Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies. Despite her keen interest in the law, writing has always been her passion.

Amy's writing inspiration comes from such authors as Stephen King, Jane Austen, Diana Gabaldon, and many others. She is a voracious reader, and the list of favorites grows daily, as she believes that to be a good writer one must read. A LOT!

Amy currently lives in Stow, Ohio with her teenage son, and their golden retriever Abbey.
