Description
In Search of Adirondack Hills is a short collection of poetry. The topics range from childbirth to bird watching. Mainly the poems touch on life lessons learned through everyday experiences. Some of the poems are humorous and others quite serious. All are meant to provoke beyond-the-surface thought, but more than that, they are meant to inspire. Although quirky, the poems are all very realistic and hopefully those who choose to read them will make life-long connections.
About the author
Latanga Spencer is a middle school teacher in Friendswood, Texas. She has been teaching English for 17 years. Aside from writing, teaching middle school is Latanga's favorite thing to do. In her spare time, she raises two amazingly talented teen-aged daughters. They are one of her major motivations in life. Latanga has written for a local newspaper and a few online websites. The release of In Search of Adirondack Hills is her first self-publishing endeavor. The poems in this collection have been written over a span of 20 years. Latanga hopes that this book of poetry will be the first of many to come.
