About The Author

Sally grew up in Birmingham, Michigan in a happy raucous family of seven. She became a teacher, now retired, and lives an adventurous life. She and her family settled in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1990 where they love exploring the Rocky Mountains and traveling.  She loved living overseas for 10 years. 

Sally enjoys telling stories to children. Her debut children's picture book, If You Don't Take a Bath, was published in 2017 and was awarded First Place for Children's Picture Books by Royal Dragonfly Book Awards 2017.  Benjamin Norcross illustrated this delightfully funny book about the consequences of not taking a bath.
