About The Author

Jeff Harris "Key West Cowboy Jeff Harris, better known as "The Key West Cowboy" is a Country-AmericanaTroubadour, storyteller and prominent singer/songwriter and entertainer in Key West Florida. He has been dubbed that name for his laid back island persona and his unwavering dedication to his true country music roots. Recognized for his unique blend of County and Acoustic Americana music, comedy and "Island Spirit." He was referred to as, "The Ringmaster of a drunken unpredictable circus." He is respected for his mix of music, improvisational comedy and storytelling. His shows are designed to be fun, interactive, fast paced, sarcastic and irreverent. Harris is known for "commanding a room." He owns the stage and his shows feature sing -along songs, heartfelt ballads, playful and sometimes raunchy anthems mixed with his own original music. Harris acts as a "Carnival Barker" and a "Roast Master" frequently engaging with the crowd. His shows are unscripted, impromptu and "never the same." His shows are sometimes described as "Adult-Oriented fun times" typical with the Key West lifestyle. Beyond the jokes, he is also a respected songwriter. With a catalog of hundreds of songs, he has released multiple albums in his career dating back to 1992. Harris spent significant years in Nashville and served as his home prior to relocating to Key West in 2007. In 2000 he began performing heavily in Europe on a solo troubadour circuit and did numerous tours abroad. He has performed thousands of shows in more than a dozen countries. Including tours for Armed Forces Entertainment. Harris still tours, but can mostly be found as a must-see staple performer at venues in Key West Florida.
