Description

This story captures a day in our home with our grandchildren. My husband Joel and I have always made our own bread, it's a family tradition that we are passing down to our grandchildren.

It is my desire to see the art of bread making brought back into the home. Making bread together and sharing it around the family table fills us with warmth, love and togetherness.

The recipe in the back of the book takes three hours start to finish, most of the time is a waiting game since the hands on part is minimal. I hope you will give it a try, if you bake bread with a child please update pictures of your experience with us on Face Book peggy alberda author! And be sure to LIKE us to help spread the coziness to other hearts and homes.

Perfect for EVERY child! Hugo Makes Bread is a special story that creates a warm atmosphere for every child being read to. I had the privilege of sharing this story with my second grade class and loved watching big warm smiles appear on all of their faces. In this book Hugo is loved so well and in turn, my students listening felt loved too. This book creates a sweet moment for every reader and listener and I highly recommend it! Read more
