About the author

Peter Hadeed is a proud loving husband and father to his beautiful wife and daughter. Born and raised in Rochester, NY where he currently resides, he enjoys golfing and social gatherings with family and friends. Mr. Hadeed earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania and has many years of experience in sales. He created this book to teach his daughter that families come in all different forms but the most important characteristic of a family is love. He hopes this message will remind you to appreciate the differences we have from one another.

The illustrator, Kristina Hutch Matthews is an artist/writer who sees with her heart. Self-taught in her primary medium of pen and ink. Kristina seeks to learn about the world through the act of creation itself. She is perhaps most unique in the way in which she remains joyfully connected to her inner child, and brings otherwise weighty subjects to light in a way that is playful, accessible and untimidating.

Description

This book has been several years in the making and I have truly enjoyed every aspect from beginning to end.  It all started when our daughter was born.  I found myself each day saying the same words over and over again as I was holding her, rocking her, or putting her to bed.  Later to my surprise, I heard her recite the same words I would often say to her as she was playing with her dolls.  At that moment in time I thought to myself how can I create a book not only for my daughter, but for all children so they can also embrace this feeling as well.
