Overview

Many believers in God accept that the Old Testament is out of date and no longer useful. This assumption cannot be further from the truth. It has been instilled in us from a young age that God is the same God from yesterday, today, and forevermore. However, for most believers the reading usually stops at creation, which is in Genesis, the first book of the Bible. Some believers proceed to the 10 Commandments but choose to stay within their comfort zone. Conveniently, all details about God's true nature and how He expects believers to live and remain in His will is omitted. This book of non-fiction addresses EVERYTHING not what is comfortable and soothing to the reader. God is not one-dimensional. Yes, He is merciful and kind; but He also gets angry. Something we are NEVER taught. He has zero tolerance for sin. Since only God can judge mankind, the Old Testament provides a clear picture of how His judgement looks when released.

About The Author

Kimberly N. Bess is a 48-year-old rededicated Christian who spent most of her life in church. She realized that she had only been occupying space and that her relationship with God was surface level at best. Kimberly began to reevaluate her approach to life and the teachings she had received. Not only did she take a hiatus from the building called church, but she also let God become her teacher, not man. Currently, Kimberly's occupation is a Finance Manager for a non-profit organization; however, she is a full-time student at God's University.
