About the author
Kimberly is a 47 year old mother to two adult children, Taylor and Raya. She is also affectionately known as Granny to Layla and RJ. Originally from Monroe, LA, she graduated from Grambling State University in 1997 with a B.S. in Accounting. After graduation, she relocated to Dallas TX where she later received her M.B.A from Amberton University and her M.S. from Southern Methodist University. Currently, she is the Finance Manager for a non-profit organization.
