Laurick lives in South Florida with his wife, Kim, and their two sons, Joshua and Jawanza. He was the youngest of 11 children and grew up in the James E. Scott Housing Projects of Liberty City. He graduated from Miami Central High School (Go Rockets!), then worked his way through Miami-Dade College, earning a degree in Business Administration. He is a long-time member of Polaris Investment Club (West Palm Beach, Florida), which is a Chapter of Better Investing. Founded in 1951, BI’s mission is to provide a program of sound investment information, education, and support that helps create successful lifetime investors. He is a member of the American Association of Individual Investors and has attended advanced investing courses sponsored by Investor’s Business Daily. Through reading, studying, writing, teaching, and speaking, he has devoted himself and his company, GIVE AND SAVE 365, LLC, to the mission of teaching anyone who wants to learn how to use every dollar they get to add value to their lives and the lives of others.
