Kay, a young, curious girl, desires to know more about her late grandmother, Gammie Mae. A visit from her great-aunt Trish and Uncle Alan brings a special gift from Gammie Mae. To her surprise, it is a box of purple azalea seeds and handwritten letters filled with love and Christian faith. With her mother's help, they plant her azalea seeds in the backyard. Kay showers them daily with water, love, and a letter from her box until, one day, her faith begins to dwindle.

About The Author


Stephen Singleton, a proud Christian and published author, was raised in the beautiful town of Mullins, South Carolina. He is a retired veteran of the U.S. armed forces, having served for sixteen years. In 2019, he married his beautiful wife, Amber, and they share a beautiful family together. He pursued further education in 2021 and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. His first two published Christian children's books, Just Like Dad and In Jesus' Name, were published in 2022. He loves nothing more than sharing great, entertaining stories with his readers, as well as bringing glory to God.
