Biographical Sketch – Ijeoma Nwankwo, MBA Ijeoma Nwankwo has over ten years of professional experience in finance and over four years in financial management. During her career, she has worked at well-known hospitals – Boston Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital in the Boston area. In her current role as a finance manager, she oversees the daily finances of a practice at Beth Israel Lahey Health, within the division of cardiology. Ijeoma earned her MBA degree at Northeastern, where she began to explore leadership roles. Upon receiving her master's degree, she got a promotion to manage the finances of a department at MGH a few years later. The decision to attend graduate school had begun to payoff. Ijeoma continues to develop her leadership skills and has a goal of asserting an expanded role where she can effectively manage staff and drive some decision-making processes. Ijeoma is also a self-published author in the self-help category. She enjoys writing and looking ways to make people and processes better.
