About The Author

Daniel McNaughton, founder of Learning to Follow Ministries, is a consultant, coach, and trainer who helps leaders develop healthy, discipling, and multiplying churches. He planted Spring Valley Community Church, Royersford, Pennsylvania, serving as Lead Pastor from 2005 to 2011. Daniel was a professor at Valley Forge Christian College for 12 years and also served in staff pastor roles for more than ten years in Boston, Buffalo, Toronto, and Pittsburgh. He earned his BA in Biblical Studies from Evangel University and MATS and PhD degrees in Old Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and University of St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto respectively. He has been married to Amy for over 30 years and has two adult children, Cherisse and Seth.
