Description

A cookbook memoir of a ten year adventure at the Firehouse Cafe in Orange, Virginia, this book includes recipes from the restaurant as well as anecdotal notes, photos, and old newspaper clippings documenting the life of the Firehouse Cafe, ending with photos of eight of the ten annual company picnics that took place with employees and families. It covers everything from the renovation of the leased historic firehouse building, to the home cooked meal offerings, to the many wonderful employees that made it happen, to the final days in business, which spanned ten years. The memoir is a tribute to the investors who made it all possible and to all of the folks who took part in the adventure.
