About the author
Rasheed Jamal hails from Oakland, Ca. He gained an interest in writing while serving a 14 year prison sentence in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, to keep himself busy and out of trouble. Falling Apart is his first published novel. He wanted his writings to stand out from other published urban novelists so he broached different and more taboo subject matters. Rasheed plans to further his writing career by releasing all of the works he completed while in prison.
