Description

'I'm BORED!!!!" Erneie loudly calls out from his room. His sister, Ezmerelda ( Ezie) is happily reading in her bed (trying hard to ignore her little brother) when Ernie suddenly appears in the doorway to her room carrying his goldfish bowl with his goldfish sloshing anxiously from side to side. Putting his bowl on her desk next to Ezie's goldfish bowl, the children are startled as their two goldfish start swimming rapidly and repeatedly back and forth. Suddenly, with their little faces turned toward each other, their eyes wide open in surprise and their mouths pushed against the glass, the two fish stop swimming and just stare at each other. In the next instant, the little sea creatures jump from their respective bowls and sitting on the rims of their bowls, face the amazed children....And thus begins an underwater adventure that takes the siblings from their home in Valleyview to the Lily Lagoon in the Great South Sea and to an encounter with a shipwrecked pirate and his wife, Grudgilia, the Witch!

About The Author

I am a recently retired Head and Neck surgeon and the stories I have written began as tales I would tell my children to keep them entertained during long car tips - ( my children did not have the dubious luxury of "electronics" to keep them occupied!) My children are now all grown but their children, my grandchildren have "inherited" the characters, and the adventures of Ezmerelda (Ezie) and Ernie have continued into the next generation. This most recent book will be new to my family and grew out of my awareness that Ezie and Ernie simply needed to "continue"! Although not part of a high school or college reading list, I hope that this story will be something my beloved grandchildren turn to when they need a break from their studies!
