The purpose of this book: As the sole owner of my health and wellness coaching business, Total Fitness & Nutrition, I've written this book to share with readers insights into my basic wellness philosophy as well as concrete steps you can take on your path to optimal health. The book includes meal plans, recipes, exercises, and testimonials, and at the back you will find templates you can use to take my tips and resources and put them into action in your own life. What I do and promote is quite simple, and I want others to benefit. It is extremely important for you to be well. Without good health, you cannot live the incredible life you were born to live. This book will give you the tools to start figuring out what works best for you, as well as a framework for holding yourself accountable to your own goals for improving your nutrition and creating a healthy lifestyle. It brings me joy to know that I am helping people understand and limit the unhealthy foods that can and do cause inflammation and could cause sickness and disease. Together, one person at a time, I am trying to create the future of nutrition and wellness by encouraging, inspiring, promoting, and living balanced lives based on clean eating and an overall healthy lifestyle.

Debra Smith-Milberg, Founder/Owner of Total Fitness & Nutrition, offers individualized Nutrition Health Coaching, individualized Fitness Training, as well as Accountability Coaching to ensure all clients' needs are met, as well as granting the opportunity to achieve optimal health. Debra works with all ages, from adolescents to seniors. She infuses her passion for healthy living and clean eating into her nutrition counseling. Debra graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where she studied Innovative Coaching methods, Practical Lifestyle Management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories, including cutting-edge methods in Holistic Nutrition, Health Coaching, and Prevention. She is now an IIN ambassador. Drawing on her expertise in fitness and health, she guides her clients to make lifestyle changes that will improve their energy, balance, sleep, health, and happiness. Her work is centered on addressing clients' specific concerns through customized, individualized plans and ongoing support, education, and guidance.
