Tyrell Nasheed Thabit is a deeply spiritual man who has spent over 30 years studying religion, African American literature and various other subjects. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his book, "Earnest Seekers of Truth". He has taken numerous passages and information from scripture and African American literature and brought them to the forefront as they relate to issues we face every day. Mr. Thabit has always had a burning passion for knowledge. He's a 10-year U. S. Navy Veteran, who served in both Persian Gulf Wars; the first was during his tenure in the U. S. Navy, and the second while serving in the U. S. Merchant Marines. He's currently a Merchant Mariner, who has spent the last 30 years traveling the world. He, also, did an around the world tour in 2013. He has been married for 24 years and has two children. His inspiration to write this book was because of his own personal struggle with poor choices and a deep desire to be a better human being and a G_d fearing person.
