Life isn't a straight path; sometimes, fate forces one to choose alternatives. Tessie 'Mac' McIntosh always wanted to be a Philadelphia Police officer. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, She progressed from a patrol officer to an undercover position with a reputation for intelligence, integrity, and professionalism. Mac was promoted to detective and received various departmental commendations. However, a covert operation went badly, exposing poor communications between precincts and resulting in an officer's death. The events forced Mac to reevaluate her career with PPD. Fortunately for her, an unexpected opportunity presented itself, making the transition from public servant to entrepreneur less complicated.
