Adamo is an aspiring young author whose first book is Derek’s Determination. In its content, she communicates her love of family, Taekwon-Do, and the attributes that she fervently strives to obtain in life. Adamo has been fortunate enough to train under excellent martial arts instructors over the past five years and is currently a 1st Degree Black Belt. She has had much writing experience in the past, from submitting original pieces of literature that have won contests to writing for her school and local newspapers. She is currently in the process of constructing her first full-length novel as well as poetry compilations. Those who inspire her include (but are certainly not limited to) her parents and other relatives, her supportive friends, her peers and teachers in Taekwon-Do, and her scholarly professors. Her other hobbies include filmmaking and singing, along with taking an active role in her community. She is also proud of her religious affiliation given that, as a Roman Catholic, her religion provides much motivation for her undertakings. Adamo is excited for what is to come in her developing career and expresses deep gratitude for those who are advocating for her success along the way.
