This is the book which encompasses all of life, joy, sorrow, regret, loss, on solitude, advice on how to live life fully, … It is both very personal, talking about her sadness from her mother’s passing to her pride at her daughter’s growths as a person, and at the same time she aims at underlying life truths that are relatable to everyone, trying to bring a reader to answer, or better yet ponder the ever present question: Why? Mesmerizing. Hopeful. Honest. A Must-Read! I couldn’t put this book down! As soon as I finished reading it (the first time) I went back to revisit the individual letters that particularly resonated with me. Through life’s ups and downs and in-betweens, the author’s sage advice is wrapped in layers of love, hope and grace. Reading it lifted my spirits and inspired me to keep growing, giving, and fully experiencing this one precious life. I couldn’t help but wish I had this book as a young adult.
