Dark Moon

L. Benedicta is a poet who started at the age of 16 years old when she wrote her first poem as part of a class assignment. After writing this poem she noticed a sense of relief that she found to be unexplainable, but didn't think much of it until years later when coming to a very trying time in her life. Writing became a place of peace, and a way for Benedicta to express herself without judgement or ridicule for her thoughts and emotions that she'd never let show. Benedicta finds solace in her art and has written hundreds of poems over the years. She is an ambitious poet who writes for the shear passion of self expression with hopes of inspiring others to do the same, in a way that resonates with them. Establishing balance in all aspects of Self is crucial and essential to live a life of fulfillment and gratification. Poetry has assisted Benedicta with becoming aware of this, and has become a passion she never would've expected...inspirited because of a class that she didn't even want to take.
