About The Author


Kim Shea has been working with older adults for almost 25 years. She has worked as a private caregiver and as an activities coordinator at a skilled nursing community. At senior centers and communities, she facilitates discussion groups to help older adults make friends because extreme loneliness is a problem that she wants to explore and help to heal. She has run a mental health practice for older adults and also works with families and older adults to educate them about resources and options in senior living. Kim helps them find new places to live or to improve their current lifestyle where they will feel safe, loved, and respected.
