Ilysha Adelstein Buss lives in Burbank, California with her husband Eric, son Demetri and dog Chapman. A marketing executive, she loves her family, dogs, reading and magic and is happy to have combined them all in this tale of Dagwood.

Tracey 		Dagwood Makes A New Friend I love that this book is based on a true story in Burbank, California. It makes the story relatable to everyone- like Dagwood could be you or your neighbor's dog. It's a sweet story about a family, a sweet dog named Dagwood, and a new baby on the way. The story is mostly told from Dagwood's point of view. It's fun to go inside the dog's life and it see it unfold from his prospective. The writing and the pictures flow together perfectly. What a great book for early elementary school kids.
