Dagwood Makes A New Friend I love that this book is based on a true story in Burbank, California. It makes the story relatable to everyone- like Dagwood could be you or your neighbor's dog. It's a sweet story about a family, a sweet dog named Dagwood, and a new baby on the way. The story is mostly told from Dagwood's point of view. It's fun to go inside the dog's life and it see it unfold from his prospective. The writing and the pictures flow together perfectly. What a great book for early elementary school kids. This book is a great bedtime read with the kids, and of course, has a happy ending! Read more
