Destiny Torres, poet, fiction writer, educational professional, spontaneous traveler, daughter, sister, and well rounded chef was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in a city that never catches its own breath, Destiny found comfort in journaling about her day to day experiences. Since experiencing the death of her father during her teenage years, her mindset about life changed drastically.
