Overview

Close your Eyes is the 2nd book to the fiction fantasy trilogy by Sarantos. Sarantos continues his epic adventure with his motley crew of companions entering into the past via a vortex and appearing as if by magic on the Marie Celeste – prompting a new hypothesis on just why the famed historic ship was found afloat and empty. Upon their return from this short adventure, Sarantos, Brad & Wallis find themselves in a new conflict against the Metalists. The Metalists seem determined to take control of Yarrowtopia in their bid to source new life-giving sustenance. Having foolishly depleted their own natural resources in ways that ironically the human mind of Sarantos is all too familiar with, the group tries to survive their encounter with these deadly creatures. They can take on human form as if by will and are undetectable as Metalists except by the elves! Can they locate them all in time to prevent Yarrowtopia from losing all of its inhabitants? The race is on…

This book creates new emotions and challenges for Sarantos. The race is on to not only save Yarrowtopia but to conquer his own personal fears. Can he put aside his natural instinct to protect Leigh while fulfilling the needs of the squad on their mission? This book offers more adventure as each character balances friendship with the need to find that perfect someone to share their lives, all with while trying to save their world. The author moves through this book with a fierce look into the way we abuse our own ecological world while flipping the pages into another world that greedily does the same, but their key to survival is a little bit different. They demand the sacrifice of humans! The creatures known as the Metalists are a persona of destruction and need—both are motivated by their own greed. Similar to humans? Meanwhile, Leigh focuses on helping others and leaves her love, Sarantos, on his own combating an evil greater than any he has ever witnessed. He believes he must become a Metalist in order to save his friends and overcome his own weakness. Will he succeed? Only time will tell. As the end of the world approaches, will Sarantos be able to come to the aid of his friends when they are trapped in the great halls of the Metalists King? He may be all that stands between them and death! Can the thoughts of Leigh rise up in his heart long enough to offer him the strength he needs to step up and face life… and death within the time frame of one heartbeat? Or will he falter and cause the destruction of Yarrowtopia and possibly other worlds? Follow along on their journey into mystical caves, and travel back in time to change the course of history while discovering and solving the mysteries that history left behind! Can they change history or had they already done that?? Then join the group of friends in a fight to the death for all humankind, as they plot against the Metalists using their own strengths to combat such a violent and selfish race. Sarantos continues releasing a new song and music video every month in 2016 as he unveils his highly anticipated 3rd album. This CD will expand on his unique signature style that merges 80s rock with modern pop rock music. Fans and fellow musicians marvel at his humble down-to-earth demeanor, his dedication to his mission and the wealth of free content that continues to drop every month!

His 1st solo album dropped on November 18^th 2014 and the diversity was amazing as Sarantos tackled almost every genre imaginable ranging from pop, rock, jazz, rap and country. As a complete surprise to his fans, one week later on Black Friday Sarantos also released a Christmas album. This was a wonderful collection of 4 brand new original Christmas songs, 10 covers of Christmas classics and 9 inspirational Christmas short stories. Families will enjoy listening to this CD every Christmas season. After his sophmore album in 2015, there was again another bombshell on Black Friday as Sarantos released a solo instrumental CD along with a bonus cover for the holidays. Fans wonder if there will be another surprise waiting for them at the end of 2016??

Sarantos has won twelve Beat 100 song & music video awards in 2015 and 2014. Sarantos was nominated for the International Music & Entertainments Awards in 2015 for “Rock Song of the Year” and in 2014 for “Rock Song of the Year” and “Pop Album of the Year.” In 2014, he was also nominated for the Hollywood Songwriting Awards for Best Unsigned Song (Are You Sure You Can Last).

Even without ever using a professional music studio, label, ad agency or radio promoters, Sarantos song “What If I Never See You Again” was in the top 200 on the majors list in the US for radio airplay according to the Digital Radio Tracker Top 200 charts. On the independent charts, Sarantos was in the top 10. He was on both these lists for most of 2015!

Sarantos prides himself on not releasing robotic music. In concert or on the radio, Sarantos music is authentic and real. It has imperfections like genuine human music should. Despite the momentum and continued traction, Sarantos still have not turned a profit since he gives away all of his songs, videos and books for free and of course, everything costs money to make. That said, Sarantos donated $2,000 anyway in 2015 to the various charities that were picked for songs released so far. It's not much but every little bit counts. Hopefully this number will continue to increase as his journey continues.

Sarantos currently has over 1.4M Social Media followers and is rated #2 on Reverbnation in the pop genre worldwide. Sarantos performed at the Toronto Music Festival in May to a sold out live audience. Sarantos music has received rave reviews and he relishes this chance to pursue his life long dream.

With new hit tunes waiting to be released every single month until the day he dies, Sarantos music screams success and stimulates an overdue conversation in the always-changing music industry. Every year until the day he dies, Sarantos will release a new song on the 1st Tuesday of every month, a new music video on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, a chapter from his fiction/fantasy book on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, and a new Whiteboard video on the 4th Tuesday of every month. A new CD & book will then be released every November. Every year. Forever.

Sarantos has been writing lyrics since 4th grade and is passionate about the words he puts to the music. Music was always in his blood. Music was always a passion and much more than a hobby. Sarantos has written over 2,000 songs!

Having undergone several personal challenges with Sarantos' father passing away four years ago after a long hard-fought battle with lung cancer, dealing with personal health issues like asthma and allergies which affected his singing style, going thru life's ups & downs, the timing was finally right to start pursuing his lifelong dream. And so it began. Sarantos main motivation remains, however, to raise money for charity.

Sarantos has always been inclined to help people in need and is proud to release his music as a way to donate a portion of proceeds to charity, hopefully inspiring other artists to do the same. His fans help him choose the charity each month. Just a few of the charities chosen so far include American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, Make-a-Wish Foundation, American Heart Association, St Jude's, American Red Cross, Salvaton Army, Children's Hospital of Chicago, Feed The Starving Children, National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, The National Center For Fathering and many more.

The website, Melogia (which in Greek means "with words") was established by Sarantos, an aspiring singer and song writer.
