Description

“If I don’t make it to heaven, I’ll worship you from hell” sets the tone for this outside-the-box inspirational tour de force dance of doubt, epiphany, and finally, Christian joy.

Meant for all, but especially for those who might be struggling, even questioning their faith, searching for truth, the book is seeded with wit and leavened with profound insight, yet manages to read like a fireside chat between old friends…a personal, intimate conversation with you, the reader.

Chasing Jesus deals with “rubber-meets-the-road” Christianity…hard-hitting, yet compassionate…playful, yet profound, with a surprise “bonus”, revealing a too little-known gift left to all from the great C. S. Lewis.

Bottom line: a page-turner guidebook for Christians of all persuasions.

About The Author

Jack Prohaska has an eclectic history as an educator, humor columnist, editor, former COO of a national company, musician, vocalist, choir director, entertainer, composer, record-setting athlete, poet/narrator on FM radio, author, and entrepreneur. He is a no-frills philosopher and founder of Jax Lay Ministries and The Love Squad, a vibrant group of Christian volunteers. A "reconstituted" Christian, having left the church more than a half-century ago, he found his faith again after journeying through Zen Buddhism, Unitarianism, New-Age metaphysical philosophy, and Pantheism. Now, at 85, Jack can look back at three-quarters of a century of searching for the truth of things with the perspective of age and experience informing his philosophy and writing.
