About The Author

One of four children, R. J. Brown was born in Toronto, Canada. From a young age, R. J. was an avid reader and had a deep love for sports. He would become a prolific multi-sport athlete into his late teens, excelling in hockey, baseball, football and track and field. R. J. also had an equal love for both drawing and writing. After a serious injury, it would be these latter two talents that would lead to a successful career in the advertising industry and eventually to the book you now see before you. Charles The Counting Cat: A Laugh & Learn Adventure! is R. J. Brown's first children's book, with additional 'Charles Learning Adventures' in the works.
