Channeling Jerry is a hi-gloss, 8.5'' x 11'' book partly about Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead, but more specifically it highlights musicians who honor and explore Garcia's acclaimed legacy. The book features photos of and conversations with Steve Kimock, Mark Karan, David Gans, Joni Bottari, Andrea Whitt, Katie Skene, John Kadlecik, Garrett Deloian, Halina Janusz, Lisa Malsberger, Vic DeRobertis, Stephen Inglis, Anela Lauren, Jeff Mattson, Joe Craven, Tyler Grant, Joe Marcinek, Marcus Rezak, Adam Perry and Josh Olken. It sheds light on the ongoing story of Garcia's music as his seemingly unstoppable sound continues to thrive and, in some cases, even reinvent itself. Each interview includes a brief gear talk section (for the gear heads among us). Like a rose unfolding, Jerry's spirit lives on.

Nick Hutchinson is a freelance writer who lives in Denver. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and attended Kenyon College in Ohio, where he studied English literature. Nick also holds a degree in journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
