After experiencing the onset of a psychiatric disorder in the late 1990s, the author wrote poetry expressing her attempts to deal with her condition. The moon Callisto captures her sense of being bombarded with feelings and memories. Fourteen poems were selected from journals she kept at the time.

About The Author


Ann Hoang lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two of their three children. Ann began writing prose and poetry in earnest in the late 1990s to help her cope with the onset of an acute illness. The intense feelings and memories were recorded in several journals she kept at the time. Today Ann is an avid quilter and gardener as well as a stay at home mom.
