The poetry in this book reflects the author's wrestling with her feeling's and memories after experiencing a mental breakdown and being diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder.

After experiencing the onset of a psychiatric disorder in the late 1990's, the author wrote poetry expressing her attempts to deal with her condition. The moon Callisto captures her sense of being bombarded with feelings and memories. Fourteen poems were selected from journals she kept at the time.

Ann Hoang lives with her husband and two of her three children in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from Marquette University in 1988. Ann is an avid gardener and quilter.
