About The Author

Sharon Watts is a writer and artist who loves to archive. She moved to Manhattan at age 18 to study fashion design, and was a fashion illustrator for the New York Times and many other clients for over three decades. Now she lives in the Hudson River Valley and pursues projects that hold special interest for her, never really knowing what they will be until they appear on her radar. Her first book was about a 9/11 hero—Miss You, Pat: Collected Memories of NY's Bravest of the Brave, Captain Patrick J. Brown. She spins gravitas with whimsy and somehow doesn't drop too many plates. Her philosophy: "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear."
