About the author
Catherine Jasek is a retired English and history teacher who claims a fetish for the five-paragraph essay. This is her first foray into fiction writing, and she found that she enjoyed both the research and the weaving of characters onto the page. She hopes someday to claim that her books have been translated into fifty different languages and have sold millions of copies. Until then, she continues to live in San Diego with her long-suffering husband Stan and her demanding cat.
