Dr. Pkanita Bonner Marion became interested in sharing her life story years ago but at the same was afraid to open herself up to the world. The courage came about two years ago after the pandemic. Dr. Marion began to slowly put her experiences on paper. Dr. Pkanita Bonner Marion, mother of two amazing children, born and raised in Alabama. Pkanita began her career journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked her way up the educational ladder to a Doctorate in Nursing. Pkanita owns her very own Healthcare Telemedicine Business and is now the CEO of Neeks' Novel Notes and author of Brown Girl Dreaming. She enjoys teaching nursing students, reading and traveling.
